First of all teh whole movie was so so. The writing was ridiculous; I know the writer was trying to make anew twist to the story but did not think it would spiral out of control this way and the ending was all wrong ... ALL wrong. The filming was not clear, and at one point I felt my vertigo starting to act up. teh acting was Ok but could have been better with more professional directing. I gave it a 3 because the actors really tied to make asilk purse out of a sow's ear.

This movie is not as great sad I thought it might be, it seems to be a "B" rated movie in my opinion. The screen okay if ok, the special FX are low budget, and the acting is downright terrible.

I honestly really enjoyed this movie. Possibly because I wasn't expecting it to be "good". I agree with most of the complaints about this movie, the costumes are not authentic, the wigs are terrible. I love movies from the Viking era, but this was horrible. Nothing authentic. Very Americanized. The extensions on Sven. Hilarious. I only watched because I was so enthralled with how ridiculously bad this movie is. BTW how did two women manage to do what 20 men couldn’t do. Yeah and the ending sucks!!!

The worst version of the Beauty and the Beast Franchise. I didn't even bother watching the film to the end; the Beast was absolutely horrible to look at. At least with the previous versions, you could accept the Beast and see positive characteristics. The quality of the filming is rather poor and unacceptable.

It was interesting adaptation of Beauty and the Beast. Not close to the Disney version. I didn't mind the Viking background. What was bothersome was the plot, the narrative, and the ending. The introduction didn't provide much of a foundation to begin with other than a love triangle, 2 guys liking the same girl. I can't think of a single thing I liked about it. It was so bad, I kept hoping that it HAD to get better, but sadly, no. It went from bad to worse. Starting with the scene of them frolicing in the river....SERIOUSLY? In the arctic north? Water there keeps an average temp of 2 or 3 degrees above freezing. I lived in Iceland; I know. It just went downhill from there.

Firstly, "Beauty' was a bit of a plain Jane, plus the script was terrible. Amazon, where do you dredge up so many low-budget movies? Please can you do more in future to prioritize quality over quantity. Didn't watch the whole movie as it was a waste of time.

Cousins vie for the crown as washerwoman Belle strolls into the forest and causes a ruckus with the beast and a troll created by the witch.The film is Asylum Grade farce. Estella Warren prances around in her Medieval mini-dress. Her cleavage is far less than what is on the DVD cover and her eyes are not blue. Low-grade entertainment.No swearing, sex, or nudity. Bloody body parts are strewn around.

I've been on a roll for along time picking good to excellent movies to add to the DVD collection. I missed the boat here. There really is nothing redeeming about this movie. No acting ... No clever twists to the original story ... It's most redeeming assets were Estella Warrens' Boobs and lets face it .., There are no brains or acting ability there. OOPS , the DVD just fell off my desk into the trash ...Oh well..

I liked this version of Beauty and the Beast. The makeup on the Beast was well done. Belle's costuming was obviously made for males to ogle. Her acting was not very good. It was a different story than the regular one most of us Beauty and the Beast fans know.

This version of Beauty and the Beast was made for TV in Australia in 2009 it's not a bad film it is low budget but has a story I have watched a lot of Holywood big budget films lately that does not have a story just huge special effects it's worth a watch on a wet weekend I only payed one pound twenty seven for it not a bank brake.

Ich habe noch nie so eine schlechte "die Schöne und das Biest" Version gesehen! Konnte mir den Film nicht einmal bis zum Ende ansehen, völlig übertriebene Darstellungen und schlechte Schauspielleistungen. Wirkt wie eine völlig missglückte Parodie.

Von diesem Film kann ich nur abraten. Es sind aneinandergereihte Szenen, die übergangslos hin und her springen. Die Qualität lässt sowohl technisch als auch inhaltlich sehr zu wünschen übrig. Die Dialoge sind schwach und der Biest erscheint sehr oberflächlich.Der Bösewicht und die Hexe sind gut besetzt, den positiven Rückmeldungen bzgl der Hauptdarstellerin kann ich mich jedoch nicht anschließen. Alles in allem kann ich diesen Film keinem empfehlen und hoffe, dass er bald in Vergessenheit gerät.

Im moment scheint es ja Trend zu sein , Märchen zu verfilmen. Das dies gründlich in die Hose gehen kann sieht man an diesem Film.Ich habe selten so etwas schlechtes gesehen. Die Texte sind alle vorhersehbar und alles wiederhohlt sich. Eine Blonde Bell mit netten brüsten und minirock . Alles ist vorhersehbar und zudem noch schlecht umgesetzt.

Schlechte Schauspieler, schlechter Plot, schlechte Effekte und auch noch schlechte Synchronisation.Ich dachte, es sei Spaßig einfach mal einen Film zu schauen, der kein Kinoniveau hat, aber selten habe ich so schlechte Fantasy gesehen :( Selbst für eine Fernsehprodukton ist der Film schlecht. Schade drum, die Idee war nett.

Dieser Film ist ganz anders als das Schöne und das Biest das man kennt.Es ist intensiver und nicht so (Kitschig) wie Disney.Ich hatte vor dem Kauf gedacht: "Mahl sehen wie es so ist da ihn mir eine Freundin empfohlen hat und ich war am Anfang wirklich skeptisch.
