I use this for jewellery making so I need to operate it with one hand which is easy to do with the gas knob on the side and the igniter button at the back. The gas knob is a bit flimsy, it tends to get stuck and even when fully closed gas still comes out the end of the torch for 10 seconds or so after the gas is 'shut'. The flame it produces is quite large and is very hot which is great. Another downfall of this product is that after using it for a while the entire top half of the torch

Not very impressed with this, the whole flame adjuster doesn't look like it will last very long.The flame doesn't get hot enough to run a small amount of solder. I'd Buy a better torch if I were to buy again.

Itvis lightweight and controllable, best used for c oking etc as it doesn't get quite hot enough for the craft activities i needed. Altjough can be very useful if you don't want too much heat

Ich hatte Jahrzehnte lang das Original - irgendwann hat es den Geist aufgegeben.
Nun, das Produkt ist OK, was nicht mehr so funktioniert wie früher ist, dass man während der Brenndauer permanent den Knopf drücken muss.
Mit dem alten Brenner konnte ich locker Löten oder Kunststoff-Schweissarbeiten machen. Das permanente Drücken verhindert leider vieles.
Zum anzünden eines Grills oder Kamins ist es OK.

Metal parts get hot in use, flame doesn't extinguish quickly when turned off, base drops off, but worst of all the flame isn't stable with a tendency to flare. Not really good enough for jewellery work, but would probably make a decent creme brulee.

This gas torch worked perfectly well until the gas ran out, I found it couldn’t be refilled trying more than one gas canister. This problem has been documented on line. This torch has a 3year guara. Product no 553079Mr D G Cook

Handy tool, only fault, can only use for 2-3 mins as it gets very hot, no problem when cooled down ( as state's in manual ).

Looks OK, but gets very hot around the top,which you can feel while holding it,not a very big flame either, ok for little diy jobs,igniter works well, but gas turn off is slow,and a flame is still present for a few seconds after shut off, which you have to be aware of!.ok for melting lead, and bending thin steel rods.

I wanted to learn how to braze jewellery. This is perfect. Good price ,good quality. I am old fashioned it feels solid, heavy, it works well, so I think its made out of metal, essential for something containing pressurised gas..in my humble opinion. How good the valve is ,I cannot tell but it works well. Another thing is I have experienced the plastic version of this torch twice, dont go there. This is far superior quality and safer.

Der gute Brenner funktionierte etwa zwei Wochen gut, dann hatte etwas Zündprobleme (geht/ geht nicht/ wie er grade will.) Qualitativ ist die Verarbeitung etwas klapprig... zum zerrunksen reicht er. Ich habe mir für zehn Euro mehr einen Rothenberger gekauft, der geht um Klassen besser.Wenn man an zehn Euro sparen will ist Dieser halbwegs verwendbar. Wenn man über einen längeren Zeitbraum etas brauchbares benötigt kauft man lieber etwas bessers.Deshalb nur bedingt empfehlbar, würde ich nicht

This product is compact and ok for small brief needs, really cheap too, but that is all. Comes with a warning not to use for more than 2 minutes at a time, which doesn't help me with any of my jewellery needs.
Useful for the odd kitchen need, but if you need a torch for use with metal clay, look for something bigger. (Propane torches burn hotter than butane torches, so if using bronze or copper clay go for the propane torch).

Bin enttäuscht von diesem Produkt. Schon die Verpackung war beschädigt und auch der Brenner selbst taugt nicht viel (Gas tritt nach dem Befüllen aus). Sah eigentlich echt gut aus, doch letztendlich bin ich doch sehr enttäuscht!

Pratique grâce à l'allumage piézo-électrique.Il n'est pas nécessaire de garder le bouton d'allumage appuyé pour maintenir la flamme comme je l'ai lu dans certains commentaires. Il suffit de tourner le robinet en position "on" et d'appuyer sur le bouton d'allumage, la flamme reste maintenue quand on le relâche. On tourne ensuite le robinet en position "off" pour éteindre la flamme.A noter que c'est indiqué (en Français) sur la notice qui accompagne

Je cherchais un mini chalumeau pour des travaux de précisionet j'en suis satisfait.La mise en route a été un peu laborieuse mais une fois trouvéles bons réglages il fonctionne bienon regrette juste qu'il faille pousser en continu surle bouton pour avoir la flamme
