Im Jahre 1995 wurde das Album "Daydream" von US- Megastar Mariah Carey weltweit veröffentlicht. Das Album konnte ein erneutes Nr.1 Album in Deutschland und in den USA für die Sängerin werden und konnte sich millionenfach verkaufen auf der Welt. Zu den jeweiligen Singles hat die Sängerin einige Videos drehen können und diese gelangten auch in die Charts von verschiedenen Ländern und konnten Hits für Mariah Carey werden.

Se non sbaglio ha venduto più di 30 milioni di dischi worldwide, uno degli album più venduti di sempre. Mariah top!!!

ein tolles Album, vor allem aus der Zeit, wo Mariah noch das gezeigt hat was Sie kann: Singen!

Suite à l'explosion planétaire de MUSIC BOX, Mariah Carey confirme avec ce disque son statut de reine des 90's, même si les tubes ont moins de succès, il y en a !
FANTASY pour commencer, est un 1er single parfait, le seul qui soit up-tempo... on retrouve en avant derniere piste du disque la DAYDREAM INTERLUDE qui montre que Mariah serait une excellente chanteuse disco aussi.
Mais, ce sont bien les ballades, très variées et pour la plupart excellentes qui font ce disque.

Mit diesem Album erreichte Mariah den Musikolymp. Jeder einzelne Song ein Unikat. Stimmlich auf höchsten Niveau und zu damaligen Zeit die absolute Nummer eins. Und heute genauso grandios wie in den 90er. Gratulation an Mariah Carey für diesen Evergreen.

Je recommande totalement cet album, c'est un must-have pour les fans de Mariah Carey et un bon début pour ceux qui désirent écouter la chanteuse américaine. En effet, l'album marque le début d'un tournant musical pour la chanteuse.
Mes préférées :
Fantasy : morceau RnB très groovy qui marque un pas vers son émancipation, une très belle intro qui reste épique
Underneath The Stars : ma préférée, les scratch au début rappellent les sons des années 70, morceau aérien, très léger mais

Eins vorweg - DAYDREAM schlug Mitte der 1990er die Richtung ein, welche Mariahs Karriere in Zukunft gehen sollte, war aber immer noch genug im alten Pop-Balladen-Sound verhaftet. Es enthält ein paar wunderschöne Perlen, welche immer wieder schön anzuhören sind und markiert Mariahs ersten Karriere-Höhepunkt. Sechs Grammy-Nominierungen und 3 US-Nummer-Eins-Hits sprechen für sich.
Hier meine Wertung zu den einzelnen Songs:

This for me is a favourite wether your a Mariah fan or not this album is so sublime and washes over you with the feeling of silk. Mariah's song writing and change in direction make the album what it is where as previous albums sounded rather contrived And dull Daydream is fire and ice rythm and blues and so much more a fantastic album by a very good artist.
