| A bargain for the money | 2018-03-13
What this sword lacks in authenticity,it makes up for by being sharp,light,lively in the hand,and beautiful! IMHO,this is the best sword in the Cold Steel series. You simply can't go wrong here.

Das Schwert entsprach leider nicht der vielfach von Cold Steel gepriesen Qualität.Der Fuller der Klinge hatte einen so großen Versatz zum Griff hin, das es schon deutlich auffiel. Die Klinge selbst war in Relaton zum Griff auch nicht ganz gerade.Und genau genommen ist es auch kein Wikingerschwert, da der Griff viel zu lang ist.Die Erstattung verlief zügig und ohne Probleme.

Wikinger-Schwert mit Scheide Die typischen Wikingerschwerter des 9. und 10. Jahrhunderts besa?en eine lange Klinge versehen mit einer breiten, mittigen Hohlkehle und zwei scharfen Schneiden. Die bevorzugte Kampfweise war ein harter Hieb oder ein schneidender Stoß. Die Schwertspitze war verhältnismßig rund aber dennoch spitz genug, um auch damit stechen zu können. Eine einfache, nach vorne gebogene Parierstange wurde oft mit einem handlichen, lederbezogenem Holzgriff kombiniert, dieser konnte ...
