Von mir gibt's 5 Sterne weil man diesem Film der 90er noch anmerkt was den heutigen Thrillern bzw. Actionfilmen fehlt. Dieser Film ist gut durchdacht und spannend. Düster aber nicht zu sehr. Mein einziger Wunsch wäre es gewäsen mehr vom Hintergrund des Mörders zu erfahren. Er hatte eine herrische Frau aber sie kam etwas zu kurz ins Bild.

You must use the buttons on your dvd remote to turn them off at the start of the movie. With the hundreds of dvd movies I've bought I've never see this before. Als ich den Film vor 25 Jahren auf VHS gesehen hatte, fand ich ihn nach ganz gut und spannend, trotz der zu langen Laufzeit. Als ihn jüngst unter Prime mit meiner Frau sah, kam er mir unendlich lang und kaum noch spannend vor. Nur Harry Connick Jr. als Serienkiller war noch ganz ok.Ansonsten lieber noch mal Sieben schauen, der ist im Gegensatz zu Copykill, sehr gut gealtert.

I enjoy serial killer films, but what I particulary like about this one is the cast which is good and the fact that the two leading characters are female. Holly Hunter plays the cop and Sigourney Weaver plays the agoraphobic psychologist, who despite being scarred by her last encounter with a serial killer that was obsessed with her ,decides to help the police profile a new killer when they approach her.
