| Spannend wie eh und je | 26/11/2015
Der Roman ist wieder gut gelungen - spannend, zuweilen witzig, sogar diesmal mit ein wenig Romantik. Vielleicht ist er etwas weniger schaurig als andere, aber empfindliche Leser nehmen ihn wohl trotzdem besser nicht mit ins Bett. Lesenswert für Krimifans!

Nachdem ich von James Pattersons letztem Alex Cross-Roman "Cross" eher enttäuscht war, hatte ich eine lange Pause eingelegt, bevor ich zum inzwischen 13. Roman um den sympathischen Alex Cross und seiner unerbittlichen Jagd auf Serienmörder und Wahnsinnige aller Art, gegriffen habe. Und erfreulicherweise hat der Autor hiermit eine bessere Arbeit abgeliefert als im Vorgänger und ist somit zurück auf gewohntem Kurs.Bereits in "Cross" hat Alex Cross den Dienst beim FBI und somit

Usually I love James Patterson`s Alex Cross books, but in this he is not up to his usual standard. I was even bored in parts. Patterson seems to think, there have to be more and more killings in one book and the more gruesome or extraordinary the better. I would not buy it again.

Liest sich schnell, bleibt aber nix hängen. Im Gegensatz zu den meisten anderen Büchern von Patterson keine (bzw. sehr wenige) story-twists. Alles sehr vorhersagbar - vor allem das offene Ende. Ob der Held jetzt Alex Cross ist oder ein anderer ist beliebig. Lieber die alten lesen!

I just finished reading this book and I have to say it was great! Definately a thriller, alot of twists and turns like most of his Alex Cross books. I had previously read You've Been Warned which is the first James Patterson book I honestly did not like at all. This book made me feel like he was writing the way he used too, which I think is his best formula. However, the ending was ok... Overall, a great book though!!! I would recommend it to anyone who likes thrillers!!I would also

It is kind of hard to review "Double Cross". If I hadn't read the previous twelve books in the Alex-Cross-series, I'd say that it is a well-written & fast-paced thriller and worth the read.Having read the previous Alex-Cross-novels though, I tend to say that "Double Cross" is just average, because it is a lot of the same old and therefore quite predictable to longtime readers of this series. Nachdem in der Alex Cross Reihe doch die letzten Bände ein wenigschwächeln, und die unzähligen verschiedenen Frauengeschichten ein bisschenunglaubwürdig erschienen, liefert James Patterson diesmal wieder eine unglaublich spannende Geschichte.Habe den Roman in 2 Tagen ausgelesen!Ich will nicht zuviel verraten, aber der Schluss verspricht eine spannende "Fortssetzung" derAlex Cross Reihe.
