I spent decades working in aquatics. This is the very best whistle brand on the market. Make it hot pink, with a comfort grip at the end...you've gotta an absolute winner. I've had two of this exact whistle. My first one lasted about 15 years and I just bought this one to replace it. It's the same. And it's the best! These are loud. These are perfection!

Coach of over 20 years. This is by far the best whistle, ever. I used to think all whistles were the same, just get one for a buck, that's all you need. Then I tried the Fox 40. Complete game changer.

Bought this for my five year old granddaughter. Had to be her favorite color-PINK ,
Like that it is pealess and the lanyard (also pink) is breakaway/safety Good mouth grip-not a hard
plastic but “soft “. We are pleased with our purchase.

This whistle is super light weight and the perfect size. The durability of the whistle is really good, however under the soft plastic tooth guard had gotten really nasty underneath. The performance of the whistle is great and can be heard from far away.

I ordered this whistle in blue for a new referee with the expectation that it would be coupled with the blue tearaway lanyard, it was not. The product description and image gallery both advertise the lanyard as part of the whistle package, but all I received was the whistle. Leaving 3 stars because I’m sure the whistle is fine, just mad I didn’t get the accompanying lanyard.

I referee and coach - this is the only brand of whistle for me.
If you ever go into a gymnasium and hear a whistle that is NOT a Fox 40, you know right away.
Quite honestly, if a referee doesn't have a Fox 40, they lose some respect as an official.

All of the coaches at our school have this whistle. I bought it and I feel like you have to blow kind of hard for it to work properly. It’s pretty loud.

This is my 5th fox forty. Only reasons I keep getting new ones is I chew the bite guard too much or some random kid decides to blow it. Can't be having that. This is the Cadillac of whistles.

sounds great, looks great! (i love the color) Came with a lanyard of the same color. the best thing is … the teeth guard is still intact after months of use… i use this whistle 4-11 hours a week, which means i probably blow it 1,000 times in one week. it’s still in great shape after 6 months of use. i’ll def buy it again.

E' un fischietto! Il suono è appastanza forte e penetrante, lo uso occasionalmene e fa bene il suo lavoro.
Il laccio di cui è munito, per portarlo al collo, è utile tranne per le attività in cui chi lo usa deve correre perchè il fischietto dondola e da fastidio. Per altre attività/sport va bene.

I had just ordered this whistle a few days ago. I tried it out and blew on it and it sounded awful. I thought at first I did not try hard enough. Tried it a few times and still it sounded terrible. That is when I decided to return it and get my money back. That is why I rate it 1 star. Was very unhappy and disappointed in this product. If you are thinking of needing a whistle for any reason. Don’t get this one!! Waste of money.

No doubt about it. NCAA, NFL, NBA, NHL all use this whistle. Because it is the best. I took a bunch of kids on a long distance hike and we used the whistle as our survival skills training. Plug your ears, these whistles work!
