You have to watch this show from episode 1, you can't miss a show, and you'll probably want to go back and re-watch a few episodes. Shows like this can sometimes get on my nerves because if they aren't interesting enough to keep my attention I'll stop watching for a while and then be totally lost. Stumbled across this a few weeks ago...fate? It's fascinating, especially given it originated over 10 years ago. I have half of the final season left and will restart from the beginning when I'm done to see what I missed. Walter is one of the best characters I've seen.

I love this show. It was quite a project to track down all the seasons, and Amazon assisted me considerably as I searched. If you’re a fan of sci-fi, I highly recommend Fringe.

Bought complete dvd collection. Started watching season 1 and got to the 7th disk which is the last for season 1. All episodesPlayed except the last one of the season. Tried cleaning with dvd cleaner 4 times and it would not work. I suggest buying itemfrom different source

| Good Entertainment While Stretching What's Possible | 01-03-2021
I give it 80/20 on entertainment and stretching. Most of the stretching is not that far for people who've been thinking about such things, but the entertainment value is good distraction for people who do. I suspect the average person would be 70/30 or even 60/40...but wherever you are, it's a good balance for a five season show.

It's really impressive when you see a show come together the way this one did. That jarring time-jump last season in episode 19 (?) makes a LOT more sense, now. It's like, "Oh ho!, that's right! Jones and Bell were stopped, sure, but there's still that OTHER issue to deal with...!" Great work, great writing, great acting, beautiful set design, and a great use of practical effects and CGI, taking advantage of the technology available in 2012 to do a really impressive

I loved this show so much. And I love Walter as a character too. Most especially, September. I would've loved to see more of him in the show. He went from being this cold, distant being, into this character who could smile, and feel emotion. I found him quite adorable.

This is the 3rd time I have watched the complete series. I bought the set to watch it a second time and put it away. When this series was offered up this time I found myself after some time feeling the same way I felt when I watched it the first and second time. I was totally enthralled at the end as I was before and I will watch it again in the future and feel the same sadness over it's ending, of that I am sure...

This show is mind boggling sometimes, but overall excellent. If I could write a show this would be it. It had everything from love and hate, ghosts and monsters, and universe and fate. All the actors played their parts excellent, even in the parallel universe as their own doubles. Really good. Must watch.

This was one of the best episodic series I've seen from the US. Right up until the very last episode I was engaged.Just couldn't buy that Little Baldie Boy was as magical as he was supposed to be. (Little Baldie #1 was more appealing.) His blank affect created a corresponding response in me. zzzzz Then Walter and September got all soppy sentimental and I lost interest in our future.

This is another show I decided to rewatch with more experienced eyes a decade or so later. I've always remembered Fringe as a well developed X-Files for my generation, and rewatching it now I still feel the same. The first 3 seasons are fantastic, diving into the depths of what the brightest (and albite most cynical) minds can think of creating. Although on its surface each episode looks like a "weekly case" set up, there are intertwined storylines, continuations and connections

I loved this show when it was on, I never actually watched the final season because at the time I had a newborn daughter and we were moving. I'm so glad I finally watched. It wrapped up the story perfectly.

I guess they ran out of ideas for the fifth and final season. The stories take place "in the future" and are stretched out in every episode to finally (sigh) get to the point. Most disappointing season of all. (And I really liked all of the other seasons!)

I'm in season 5. This has been a really fun and thoughtful show for the most part. I wanted to say thank you for the family theme and the never ending love theme as opposed to the "kill the disposable woman to have something new in the story" theme. I find it much more admirable and way less depressing. I also like that the guy has a daughter instead of trying to pretend it's normal for the grown man to be with the young 13 year old as so many shows do. Are we regaining
