Eine weiße Schallplatte, in einem schönen Cover. Ich hab es für meine Eltern gekauft und sie haben auch sehr gefreut. Die Klangqualität ist auch sehr gut.

| The worst sound quality LP i ever had. | 07/04/2023
Big Big disappointment. Nothing but a fuzzy sound. Watch and listen the song from youtube (VEVO) that is 10 times better than this LP. I also compared with different Lps that i purchased 30 years ago. Jim Croce His greatest Hits (produced 1974 and bought 1983). This old Lp has a way better quality (sound clarity and better mixing?). Dan forgelberg & Tim Weisberg LP "Twin Sons of Different Mothers" almost 40 yrs old LP has a much better sound quality than this Not so greatest

I was delighted to see that Smokies Greatest hits was on white vinyl, was glad to purchase a vinyl and CD copy, so I could listen to this Greatest Hits at home and in a car when getting a lift in a car. Great album.

Well apart from it being in excellent condition, it is an extremely rare item with 4 sides and white vinyl. You also have the original line up of Smokie and all the early hits. My only slight grouse is that there are no lyrics, but I have got the Greatest Hits Records (2 sides) with the lyrics of some on there. I also have a load more Smokie albums in my collection! Incidentally, 6hey were known as "Smokey for their first 2 hits) They are still popular in South and West Yorkshire!

The first one I received within 24 hours, however there was a fault with the centre label on the vinyl. I went onto the Amazon website and reported the problem, and they immediately sent another one which I also received within 24 hours.
The replacement vinyls was perfect and in white as well. All original tracks and some bonus tracks, brilliant double album and a very reasonable price.
Excellent service Amazon, even through it pains me to say this as I love high street shopping.

Der ein oder andere größere Hit fehlt zwar, wie z.B. Mexican Girl oder For a Few Dollars more, aber insgesamt und auch für den Preis findet man sehr viel von dem wieder, was man noch heute liebt. Beim ersten Anhören wurde mir wieder klar, dass dies wohl eine der besten Bands überhaupt war...Wehmut pur😍🎶😌

Ich habe mir die Doppel Vinyl und die CD gegönnt.Weil ACHTUNG: Unterschiedliche Titel.Die CD hat mehr Bonus Tracks dafür fehlen andere Titel die auf Vinyl vorhanden sind.vor ca. 4 Jahren die Vinyl und 2021 die CD.Vinyl: Sehr gute Zusammenstellung und gute Qualität der Aufnahmen. Damals ca. 17 €CD: Überwiegend Gute Qualität einzelne Bonus Titel hören sich schrecklich an (Verzerrungen) einfach nicht CD würdig. für 8€ nur OKmeine Empfehlung: wer auf ein Paar Bonustracks verzichten kann, kauft die

Also 5 Sterne zur Musik. Sehr gute Soundqualität. War früher schon bei den alten Smokieplatten sehr gut abgemischt. Da kommen wieder Erinnerungen hoch. 2 Sterne für die lieblose Innengestaltung des Covers. Hätte man mehr machen können. Wird schon keine Zeit dafür gewesen sein. Aber wer SMOKIE liebt unbedingt KAUFEN. Ein richtiges Sammlerstück. 🥳😘👍🌵🏆🏆🏆

Ähnlich wie bei Suzi Quatro waren auch die wirklich guten Songs aus der Feder von Chin & Chapman.Ich besitze alle Smokie-Alben mit dem Originalsänger Chris Norman und da ich kein wirklicher Fan von Smokie war, denke ich, bewerte ich die Songs relativ objektiv. Aber für mich sind die beiden "Greatest Hits" CD's diejenigen, die ich öfter einmal einlege, von daher bin ich mit der Songauswahl bzgl. der "Bonus-Titel" sehr zufrieden. Klanglich sind BEIDE

Zur Gruppe und deren Musik muss man nichts mehr sagen, einfach geil. Eines der vielen sehr guten Gruppen aus den glorreichen 70er Jahren.Gute zentrale Pressqualität, Vinyls liegen sauber und plan auf, auch ohne Plattengewicht. Minimale Pressrückstände auf Platte 2.Keine scharfen Kanten, kein Knistern und Knacken, dazu die original Aufnahmen aus der Zeit, was will man mehr.Klangtechnisch gesehen absolut im grünen Bereich, ich höre normale Zimmerlautstärke. I think this vinyl is brand new but it come like scratched. Each side of first 1 or 2 songs did not playable. When you start the songs when first tracks its just scratched and jump into the middle of the songs.

Greatest Hits ..... nunja viele davon waren keine Hits ! Aber was am meisten stört ist die Bescheidene Soundqualität ! Da waren die Schallplatten von früher andere Qualität. 2 Sterne mehr ist da leider nicht drin.

The original album was excellent, comprising nine excellent tracks written by Nicky Chinn and Mike Chapman. Unfortunately, the flow was interrupted by one inferior track written by the band members themselves. So what do we have here? Instead of coupling the original album with Volume 2, a number of inferior tracks written by the band members have been inserted to ruin the running order. It should be so easy to compile a great Smokie CD just by including only the Chinnichap songs, but .... I

Die weiße LP GREATEST HITS ist erstmals 1977 bei RAK erschienen und war nach einer Reihe von Top Hits die erste offizielle Best Of von Smokie. Mit den Singles aus den ersten drei Alben, die für diese Kopplung ausgewählt wurden, sind schon reichlich Hits versammelt. Die zur Erstveröffentlichung bis dato völlig neuen Non-Album Tracks sind dann allerdings für den Aufstieg der LP in den Legenden-Status verantwortlich.
