This 2 CD set was better than expected. Based on some reviews I read, I had low expectations. Although it is in Mono the sound is decent on mist of the tracks. The performances are great. My only complaint is there's too much talk. I'm sure some people would enjoy hearing the interviews with the Beatles. Not me. But there is plenty of great music on both discs.

Really good early Beatles. The quality is excellent and there are lots of songs on here that are not on any Beatles album. If you want to know what the guys were singing in the Cavern, then here you are. Imperative if you like the Beatles.

I'm a great Beatles fan so this album is a great addition to my Beatles collection, even though a few of the tracks are duplicated from volume one there are enough never released tracks to make this a worthwhile buy.

Not as good as volume 1. Too much inane chatter from some of the DJs AND some of the recordings are decidedly below par. However, when the boys are allowed to get on with it they are just brilliant. Some songs here I do not think exist on any other recordings (I could be wrong.)
If you are a fan or die hard completest you will want this - otherwise I suggest you buy those early albums.

Un assoluto must da possedere se amate i Beatles. Da non perdere, ovviamente, anche la prima raccolta "Live at the BBC".

Für mich persönlich waren einige Lieder dabei, die ich so noch nie hörte.
Die Beatles sind und bleiben einfach eine der einflussreichsten Bands ihrer Zeit! Genau das spiegelt sich auch in dieser CD wider!
Mehr gibt es für mich gar nicht zu sagen.

Nach dem ersten Teil, in komplett anderen Design, weitere Lieder aus der Anfangszeit der Beatles. Unterbrochen von Ansagen und Interviews. Warum nicht die selbe Verpackung wie Teil 1? Macht sich nicht gut im Regal.

Il disco è arrivato imballato bene ma la copertina (di cartone) risulta essere danneggiata lungo il lato alto come da una macchina punzonatrice che ha praticato un taglio rettangolare di circa 5mm x 1,5mm netto e pulito. Ma insomma!

Sono troppo di parte per essere obbiettivo su questo gruppo, sono i miei preferiti in senso assoluto! Posso solo provare: Ok, il disco non è il loro massimo, ma è una concreta testimonianza del talento che era già in loro fin dalle prime battute della loro esistenza...Per chi non è così pazzo per loro non lo consiglierei questo disco, è un live nemmeno di qualità eccelsa, ma per chi sta come me, si affretti ad accapararselo!

A differenza dei precedenti acquisti questo l'ho ricevuto con un giorno d'anticipo ma ... la confezione era leggermente ammaccata, ma fortunatamente i cd erano integri. Non poteva certo mancare per completare l'intera discografia dei Fab4.

Ein Muss für jeden wirklichen Beatlesfan. Das Album habe ich mir zur Komplettierung meiner Sammlung gekauft. In Verbindung mit der Biografie über die Beatles wird einiges verständlicher.

Die CDs gefallen mir sehr gut. Man hat das Gefühl live eine alte Radiosendung zu hören.
Der Charme der Musik besteht ja gerade in der Liveinterpretation der Songs.
