The torch works very well using my existing Makita batteries so it’s an ideal complement to my Makita set of tools. I haven’t used it much yet.

It's ok. The light that comes off of it is white with a weird yellow around the edges. Still don't get why it isn't crazy bright like you would think an LED should be. I have AAA flashlights that are brighter. They aren't as handy and don't last as long. I'm keeping it since I got addicted to my old one for the 9.4V.

Love my Makita tools, so this was a no-brainer. Don't have to worry about having a charged flashlight around, because my Makati batteries hold their charge, and the tools are always on the job. Like the pistol grip and adjustable head, comfortable and bright, all at a low price.

I only buy Makita for work so had batteries already, good torch, easy to hold and lasts hours on an 18v battery, robust and like I said you can't go wrong at this price

Makita c'est plus fort que toi, parfait quand je visite mes combles, ou quand j'ai besoin de lumière compatible avec mes batteries makita. l'éclairage est très bon et le crochet bien pratique pour la fixer en hauteur !

Nice Makita quality however the picture depicts a very bright daylight white light when in fact it is rather dull one with a yellow tone - not ideal for a work light - it does look very dismal, don't understan other reviews stating it is bright

The amount of light is good, not great, but it's better than I expected. It seems slightly brighter than some of the other big name brands' standard 20v battery flash light. The hook is extremely useful but if you don't need it the there is a clasp to remove it quickly.

I have 3 of the old style and love this new led one! You can buy led light bulbs for the old style but this in my opinion is better.

Its a Makita, so the the product is quality made and robust. The adjustable head of the light unit is very good for many situations, and the lead & hook is handy. The torch it's self is light weigh, however add the 14/18volt battery the torch can become awkward to use in tight spaces. Overall it gets 4 stars for me & it's the main torch I use daily.

Great light, but you need at least a 3 amp battery. I am using a 5 amp and it stays charged for a month using every night!!

I purchased this Makita DML815 LED Torch which I received quickly via Amazon delivery, unfortunately the battery that I ordered from a market place supplier never arrived so I can't test and review the torch. The torch itself looks of good quality as all Makita products tend to be, but as a torch I'm unable at this time to review and comment. Hopefully when I manage to get a battery I'll be able to update this review, but at the minute I have a Makita torch that is useless to me.

Its a Makita, so the the product is quality made and robust. The adjustable head of the light unit is very good for many situations, and the lead & hook is handy. Lampe solide avec lumière assez chaude probablement vers 3000°K mais manque de puissance et cela aurait mieux d'avoir 2 modes de puissance.

Ich gebe leider nur 2 Sterne. Ich habe diese Makita Lampe als Geburtstagsgeschenk bestellt. Wie ihr sehen könnt an Hand des Bildes wurde sie nicht im original Karton verschickt. Man könnte meinen es handel sich hierbei um ein Retourläufer ohne Verpackung im gebrauchten Zustand.
Sowas ist nicht schön und hätte in der Beschreibung mit stehen müssen.
( bei gebraucht /akzeptabel - hatte ich die Finger von gelassen - zumindest als Geschenk , privat so zu kaufen kann man ja machen )
