Premesso che mi sono innamorata della sigla e ho voluto comprare questa sorta di "best of" delle musiche della serie, ahimé alla fine questa colonna sonora non mi ha colpito quanto il telefilm. Non é male intendiamoci, ma neanche memorabile come la sua splendida sigla (qui infatti risuonata in tutte le salse) e la colonna sonora di altri film. Vedremo se scriveranno qualcosa di altrettanto forte per il finale della serie ora...la consiglierei solo agli appassionati. Ad ogni modo

Die Zusammenstellung der CD ist gelungen und die wichtigsten Kompositionen sind dabei. Alleine die Lieder "Mhysa", "The Rains of Castamere" (hier: A Lannister always pays his debts) und natürlich das Meisterwerk "Light of the seven" waren Grund genug für den Kauf. Leider aber lässt die Klangqualität sehr zu wünschen übrig. Ich konnte die CD an zwei ernstzunehmenderen Musikanlagen testen, kam aber leider in beiden Fällen zum praktisch identischen Ergebnis. Description: Im Jahr 2011 wurde Ramin Djawadi erstmals gefragt, ob er die Musik zur Serie Game Of Thrones komponieren könnte. Für die erste Staffel war das Budget für die Musik recht überschaubar, es wurde ein kleines Streicherensemble, begleitetet von Percussion, aus dem Drumcomputer eingeplant.
