Ce CD permet à tous ceux qui ne l'auraient jamais écouté ou qui ne connaitraient de lui que son seul tube immortalisé en 1969 par Presley "Polk Salad Anny" de le découvrir. On ne peut qu'être touché par sa voix caverneuse et son phrasé particulier, qui parfois fait penser à JJ Cale. Avec TJW nous sommes en présence d'un interprète qui allie avec succès le blues, la country et le rock'n roll.Indispensable!

just love TJW - this compilation contains some of his very best work, from his early days. you'll be surprised to see just what he wrote - Rainy Night In Georgia, Polk Salad Annie … and his voice is fantastic. I will wear this cd out in no time, because it is my go-to drive music!!

I heard this artist doing the superb track "(You're Gonna Look) good in blues on YouTube and decided to buy this offering to get an overall view what the rest of his work was like - I wish I hadn't, this album does nothing for me, the songs are boring, dated and samey. I know this guy is a great guitar player but there is not much of it on this CD - I'm going to sample a few more of his up to date albums though as I love his style and approach !
