Great bag. This is the biggest size that airlines allow for checked luggage. You can fit a ton of stuff in it, it rolls easy, and seems durable. Took it on an 8 day cruise so far and it held up well. I have the Tranporter 40 duffel as well, and it is also a bottomless pit of storage. I highly recommend this bag and the whole Tranporter line of luggage.

Finally got to use it on a three week trip to Spain. We flew, used trains, buses, subways, and lots of walking with luggage, so it got a good workout. The wheels worked well over the various surfaces. I replaced a convertible backpack of slightly larger size with more flexibility in the fabric. Four suggestions for Osprey to improve this already very good bag:
1. Design and build it in a normal, durable, ballistic nylon material. The plasticized material is kinda weird with an awkward feel.
2. Add a couple of small outside zipper pockets for organization.
3. Add a grommet or loop at the top to hang a luggage tag and an loop inside the top zipper pocket to attach an AirTag.
4. Substantially tone down the oversize exterior, waaaaay too

KEINE Kompressionsriemen! Wenn die Taschen NICHT voll beladen ist machen solche Riemen Sinn.
Die Rollen laufen hervorragend. Wer NICHT über unebenes Gelände rollen will sollte lieber zu einem Modell mit vier Rollen greifen. Auf einem Flughafen oder Bahnhof sind diese Modelle viel besser zu händeln.

I bought an Osprey 90 litre rolling duffel to replace the one I damaged. Was disappointed in the subtle but important differences in construction obviously intended to save money. A missing strap here, a deleted zipper there. Plus it seemed ever so slightly smaller. A pity to see good companies replacing products with inferior versions. On a positive note was very happy with delivery timeframe.

I am retired and travel for leisure. I've had this bag for 8 months and taken it on several trips. I love it! I do not like to take check-in baggage as it gets delayed too often--especially on international flights. The Osprey Transporter 40 fits neatly into overhead storage on larger planes and has several handles that make it easier to hoist it up into the overhead compartment. Love this bag. My friend had the 120 size which was too big for me. I got the 90L which is perfect. Love the feel of the roller bag and how smoothly it rolls. I ended up getting the global carryon and transporter boarding bag as well. Great set and feels very solid.

This a good bit of rolling luggage. Outside the soft shell is robust and weather resistant. Probably won’t keep the contents dry in an extended down pour.
Zippers are of good quality and easy to operate. The best thing is the wheels they are a step about what you typically find on this kind of luggage.

I bought two of these identical bags in black.
Initially I thought the bag that I was traveling with was just dirty from being in the airplanes cargo area.
Met up with my girlfriend who was traveling with the second bag; her bag too was "dirty".
Then we realized that the bags were actually not dirty but were actually scuffed up. We presume that the scuffs are from the conveyor belts used to load and off load baggage from the airplane.
It's all superficial and the bags are still

This costs a lot, but rolls easily, meets the current (smaller) size limits for international carry-on. Roomy enough for a careful packer to take a week or more's worth of clothing.

The larger wheels and higher chassis make this bag easy to maneuver and pull, even when heavily loaded. Zippers are strong and easy to use. I like the streamlined design—not too many compartments, just one at the top handle which is right-sized. No straps so more elegant for travel. Exterior fabric is shiny; although I didn’t like appearance at first, i few to like it and repells water and dirt. It hits the carry-on size for US airlines, but just a tad large for European airline carry-on.

I got a gray one and a black one. If I were to buy again, I would buy only the black ones, they don't show the marks the airlines get on them. The gray does. They hold up really well though. I just got back from an Alaska fishing trip and straight into a Disneyland trip, they held everything I needed for both outings.

I bought the BEAUTIFUL Smoke Grey.
The positive: PLENTY of room and many compartments. I packed a 45+10 L backpack, food, clothing and ALL my gear for a backpacking trip. It is incredibly spacious.
The negative: It STAINED at the airport after only one use. I like to keep my gear clean, so I am trying to remove all the rubbery stains, even knowing it will get trashed again.
I wish I had chosen a darker color.

Pack arrived with defective zipper. It was not apparent on zipping it up in preparation for my flight, but the two sides of the zipper were not connected at the end closest to the fabric. I picked the bag up after my flight to find that one side of the zipper had worked its way open. Osprey treats defects and damage repairs the same - the customer is responsible for the postage to return. That seems unethical - I shouldn't have to pay an additional $77 because Osprey shipped me a defective

Since this is a duffle type bag, it was easy to maneuver my packing cubes and other items to fit. BONUS - the large wheels. This has potential to be a quality product, as one might expect from Osprey. My purchase developed a fault with the telescopic handle on the second time of use. Osprey offer what is laughingly known as an “All Mighty Guarantee”, which sounds great until you try and use it to get a replacement item. Shocking customer service and my previous faith in Osprey removed. I won’t be buying another Osprey product.

Well made, well designed and the perfect carry on luggage (but not Ryan Air). Probably a little shy of 40 litres TBH, but with the flexibility you can squeeze stuff in. Osprey make quality products and this shows it it. The large wheels make it easy to pull along over most surfaces. I'be used the 90ltr version for a few years for check-in luggage and it's been ideal, so getting this was a no-brainer. It's a little pricey but will last you years. Recommended.

My wife went looking for a new roll-aboard bag a few months back. She bought the Transporter 38 from Osprey... almost this same bag but a bit smaller and it has a laptop sleeve and some more compartments. We traveled with it 2 or 3 times and it was a great roller bag.

Love the Osprey bag and I have taken it on several trips including 2 week fishing trip. Held lots of clothes and gear. Held up great. Seems very rugged to me. Wheels are impressive and it stands upright with no problem. One trip the bag must have set outside in rain waiting to be loaded onto plane. Bag on outside was very wet when I picked it up but all gear/clothes were dry. Very nice. Worth the money in my opinion.

I intended to love this bag. Lightweight, water resistant and the manufacturer has a great reputation. However, as soon as I took it on a trip, extended the handle, the pin or small nail that secures the top of the handle to the bottom, and in this particular piece of luggage, which was sticking out 1/2 inch, punctured my finger. If you’re one that takes a carry-on, this is a great quality back from an amazing company. I wish I had kept it.

I used the case when I went away on a 10 day course. It was plenty big enough. Light to pick up with handy places to hold onto and best of all rolled really easily on pebbled pavements and in gritty bus stations. It's waterproof, sturdy and packs down so I can store it away easily. I can't rave about it enough. Expensive but I expect to have it for many years.

The coating melts with friction and leaves black marks. This was after my first trip using the bag as checked luggage. The marks are fused with the bag and can’t be scrubbed off. This is just cosmetic but something that should be noted. Caution purchasing the gray color. Aside from that it’s a good bag.
