I'm afraid that I was disappointed by this album which features a very interesting selection of covers of rock and blues songs by Tom Waits, Bob Seger, Bob Dylan, Willie Dixon, Muddy Waters etc etc but I'm afraid that everything just seemed a bit routine and uninspired. The band features, amongst others, Robben Ford together with French singer/guitarist Paul Personne, American guitarist 'Bumblefoot' Ron Thal, Brussels-based American singer Beverly Jo Scott and American guitarist

Einer unglaublichen Fügung des Schicksals verdanken wir eine der brillantesten Session-Scheiben, auf der jede Menge Größen mitspielen. Klar spielt Robben Ford viele der Soli, aber auch die anderen Musiker sind Weltklasse, eine dichte, lebendige Atmosphäre ist beim Anhören dieser CD zu spüren wie selten. Die beteiligten Musiker, die sich zuvor noch nie persönlich getroffen haben, gehören zur Crème de la Crème in ihrem jeweiligen Genre und harmonieren als Lost in Paris Blues Band erstaunlich gut. Paul Personne, Frankreichs Bluesmusiker Nr. 1, hatte die Idee zu dieser außergewöhnlichen Session in den Ferber Studios in Paris. ...
