Tried on the Sony a7c ii and found both the so autofocus and the quality uninspiring and lacking.
I also have the APSC equivalent of the Sigma 18-50 on the Sony a6700 and that performs much better and the autofocus is snappy and quality consistent. Prefer this combination.
If you have the a7c or any full frame Sony, it is worth spending a bit more for the super Sigma 24-70mm

Obiettivo che mi ha salvato la vita sulla mia sony zv-e10 in quanto essendo una fotocamera di una fascia medio-bassa, non mi assicurava riprese eccezionali (soprattutto di sera). Con questo obiettivo invece la situazione è migliorata di molto!
Messa a fuoco automatica non istantanea ma comunque reattiva.

Objectif à très bon rapport qualité / prix. Grande ouverture, bon piqué, AF rapide, tout ce qui faut si vous souhaitez monter en gamme en remplaçant votre objectif kit ! il est un peu plus lourd mais pas plus que les autres objectifs concurrent (tamron par ex.). Adapté pour la photo / vidéo de voyage, portrait, etc.

This lens is built with the usual great Sigma quality that has been in evidence since the creation of the Global Vision lineup. IQ is excellent, AF is fast and accurate, and the design is great. It pairs well with the Sigma 16-28mm f/2.8 DGDN. Now Sigma just needs a long tele-zoom to go with it.

Within the first few shots I fell in love with this lens. The size and weight, the image quality and the colors. Amazing. I adore this lens.
If your nit-picky, you should know about this:
-distortion at the min and max focal lengths
-poor corner sharpness wide open at 70mm
-chromatic aberration
-The distortion doesn’t bother me. I shoot RAW exclusively so everything gets processed in Lightroom before it’s done. This is a checkbox and done
-the poor corner sharpness at 70mm is a slight bummer,

Made to the highest standards this filter is perfect to protect my expensive lens and does not affect IQ in any way. Super thin, easy to thread on and peace of mind. Highly recommended, a top bit of kit.

Before I received it I was worried that it would not perform to the standard I require due to its compact size. An initial photo shoot tells me it's capable of producing absolutely beautiful images. I compared it at 50mm to my Sony 50mm 2.5g prime, and it's marginally behind in sharpness, and the in-camera correction is a bit more dramatic telling me there is more distortion, but the image quality is very close. It will be hard to justify swapping the prime onto my camera just on the

Este objetivo me ha sorprendido por lo nitido que es a todas las focales. Temía que el rango máximo de 70 mm fuese poco nítido, sin embargo no es así.
El flare está controlado, las aberraciones cromáticas también. El bokeh es bastante suave y cremoso. El motor de enfoque rápido y silencioso y la construcción transmite calidad. En caso de necesitar eliminar los clásicos viñeteo y distorsión es muy fácil hacerlo en cámara o con el editor. La compra ha sido muy satisfactoria.

Ich kann mich im positiven Bewertungen eigentlich nur anschließen. Das objektiv ist sehr gut verarbeitet, macht knackige scharfe Bilder. Auch das Gewicht ist sehr angenehm. Einzig kleiner Wermutstropfen ist, dass das objektiv an der Kamera montiert immer leicht nach vorne auf den Tisch kippt, so dass die Sonnenblende ständig aufliegt. Das ist aber nicht weiter tragisch. Genauer hinsehen sollte man aber hier bei der Garantie. Das hier von mir erworbene Objektiv konnte nicht für die drei Jahres

l'ho acquistato perchè era i offerta e cercavo un'ottica tutto fare che potesse essere comoda da portare in giro. Questo Sigma è davvero ben fatto e sopratutto è leggero. Non è proprio un tutto fare dato che i 70mm per questo scopo sono un po' pochini ma comunque è un'ottimo prodotto. Abituato con ottiche fisse da F1.4 i suoi 2.8 per il mio standard lo rendono luminoso ma non troppo.

Great photography lens, but as for video the auto focus isn’t the fastest with these. I use a Panasonic S5II and it wasn’t quick to pick up the subject. Overall a great lens though one you get past the poor auto focus

I tend to shoot with my 24mm, 35mm or 85mm primes. Over time I have noticed (because I can't be bothered to change lenses) I left my camera in my bag more often than not. Also, I don't like to carry too much with me, so I could never decide what to take.
To solve this very first world problem, I bought this lens.
Firstly, I really like the size...it’s very small and light (about the same size as my Sony 24mm 1.4) which was a big consideration. I had considered the Sigma 24-70mm, but
