Added this device to the COAX input of my Logitech 5.1 surround sound system and have connected via many Bluetooth music sources.
The Dolby music setting on the Logitech sounds absolutely superb with the Yamaha YA11.

It worked great when I first got it. Then I noticed the signal skipping some and stopped using it for a while. Now, a year later, it simply doesn't work. It won't even power on. I really want to find a way to connect my digital devices to my hi-fi audio system. :(

Finalmente un ricevitore audio Bluetooth plug&play che non dà problemi. Funziona perfettamente con diversi smartphone (Blackberry Passport, Samsung Galaxy S8+ e S8). Connessione tramite protocollo A2DP assolutamente stabile e senza dropout. Ho collegato l'uscita audio digitale coassiale ad uno degli ingressi digitali coassiali del sintoamplificatore Yamaha RX-A3030. PERFETTO!

Like another reviewer worked for about 10 months then stopped connecting to everything. Even when it worked, the sound was spotty if I was holding my phone. Phone had to remain stationary very close to the device. I may have received a defective product and should have returned it immediately. Still no warranty information available and Amazon is sending me on a wild goose chase. Not worth my time. :-(

Less than a year...won't connect to my phone or Alexa. Worked great for the first 10 months. Mostly like a BT update issue. Really, disappointed with Yamaha. Only BT with the coaxial digital output. All the knockoffs use Mini Stereo jacks...sux!

This small cleverly made Bluetooth receiver delivers superior sound quality which one can only expect from Yamaha. It syncs every time to Apple and Android devices and can be controlled from good distances away. It's real value for money because I didn't have to replace my old Yamaha Stereo system.

Der Yamaha YBA-11 wird von mir als Ergänzung zum Yamaha A-S 501 Stereo Vollverstärker genutzt. Dieser treibt einen Project Debut Carbon Esprit mit Ortofon 2M red und zwei Nubert NuBox 313 an. Da ich zum einen eine Alternative zu meinem Logitech 2.1 System, das auf dem Schreibtisch meinen MacBook-Sound verstärkt, suchte und zum anderen mangels finanzieller Möglichkeiten keine unfassbar große Plattensammlung besitze (und häufig auch nicht als Vinyl erhältliche Songs und Alben mit gutem Sound hören

Actually bought the YBS-12. Tried several different ways to hook my Belkin Bluetooth receiver to this so I could stream music to my R-S500 receiver using the "dock" input. Nothing worked. An Apple 30 pin to lightning adaptor does work but the mount is a little fragile when an iPhone is placed on the adaptor.

si collega in un nansecondo e tiene perfettamente, zero interruzioni anche in un ambiente grande. Ne abbiamo testo i limiti solo uscendo all'esterno della stanza, dove mantendo un po' di visibilità ottica raggiunge i 15 metri di portata, anche da un vecchio iPhone4.
Se si ascoltano buone sorgenti il risultato è ottimo.
Toglierei una stella per il prezzo che se pur consistente non include un alimentatore, ma mi sto divertendo troppo grazia a questo ricevitore!

Have the iPod dock but following the change in Apple connector, found the adapter very fragile. This adds a little more "future proofing" to my av amp. Easy, stable connection, decent range too (from furthest room in 4 bed house to lunge).

Good range, so easy to use and the button on top to disconnect whichever of your devices has randomly decided to connect is a godsend.
Works with any amp that can take SPDIF inputs so not limited to Yamaha. I use it on an Audiolab M-DAC+ which even has a USB port for supplying power so the YBA11 powers on only when the DAC is on.
Additional plus points include that it is physically small, the lights are visible but not too bright, when nothing is paired the light is off and when paired it's

lo compre por necesidad porque solo tenia mi amp as-801 y nada para probarlo asi que con esto y mi telefono pude calmar mi ansiedad y me quede muy asombrado porque supuse que iba a afectar mucho la calidad de sonido. pero no. Si realmente lo necesitas para poder conectarte BT lo recomiendo y siempre mejor si tus equipos son Yamaha.

che dire! yamaha è semplicemente una garanzia. l'ho collegato al mio SINTO 1020 Aventage. Ha funzionato dopo 30 sec che lo avevo collegato.
AMAZON non ha paragoni. tempi e serità!

Nonostante l'AptX non sia del tutto lossless e nonostante non si sappia che versione effettivamente viene usata in questo dispositivo devo dire che suona molto bene (probabilmente complice l'uscita digitale). Il cellulare non si connette automaticamente ma devo connetterlo io manualmente quando voglio utilizzare il dispositivo.

Ich habe mir den Adapter zugelegt, weil ich nur noch einen koaxialen Anschluss am Verstärker frei hatte und der Adapter aptX für Bluetooth Audio beherrscht.
Der Klang ist für meine begriffe nahe CD-Qualität. Und für die Quellen, die ich auf meinem Tablet/Smartphone habe, ist das mehr als ausreichend.
Klare Kaufempfehlung, trotz des etwas zu hohen Preises.

El producto suena muy bien. Lo que sí mi equipo Yamaha no venía con la entrada de usb pero estoy usando como fuente de poder el modem del cable. También es opción enchufarlo a la tb o al enchufe normal. Es de 5Volt 0,5 A

It worked great until it didn't...just 14 months after purchase. It no longer powers on. Spent 42 minutes on hold to talk to a rep at Yamaha just to have them take down a few words and "have a specialist call me back shortly". That was 4 hours ago. I will look for a better alternative.

Es perfectamente compatible con mi equipo Yamaha YHT-S401 (SR-301 + NS-BR301). Lo conecté al STB, y la alimentación a la red. El sonido es muy bueno, y compatible con todo el aparataje bluethoot de casa (ipad, bq, samsung, huawei).
Me dejaron para probar otro muy similar, de otra marca mas cara, y el Yamaha me ha gustado mas.
Lo pedí un jueves por la noche, y llegó el viernes por la mañana.

It's okay. For the money I was expecting a little better quality of transmission. Even from 10ft away, if you're listening to music on your phone (in your pocket) the music cuts out, skips, etc. Take it out of your pocket and just have it in your hand. Any movement (normal swinging of your arm) and again cuts out, skips etc. Soooooo. If you plan on listening to music and don't mind leaving your device alone, you should be fine. Having said that, sound is amazing.
